The following is a list of companies that support and influence the operation of CODER through membership in the CODER Consortium:

Avellan Space Technology & Science (AST & Science) is dramatically transforming how satellites will be designed, built and launched, affording commercial entities significant advantages, such as accelerated launch times, significantly lower costs and a level of resiliency and reach never previously possible.

Aurora Flight Sciences is a leader in the development and manufacturing of advanced unmanned systems and aerospace vehicles. Aurora is headquartered in Manassas, VA and operates production plants in Bridgeport, WV and Columbus, MS; and a Research and Development Center in Cambridge, MA.

OrionAST is a pioneering US company established specifically to develop and apply a revolutionary new technology to counter the increasing threat posed to our satellite-dependent world by orbital debris.  As well as safeguarding critical telecommunications and other services, this innovative OrionAST technology offers commercial and government operators significantly enhanced capability in a wide range of space-based activities, including satellite recovery and salvage.

Scout Aerospace LLC is a for-profit startup based in Atlanta, Georgia. The company is a testbed for technology and business development in the orbital transfer vehicle and spacecraft manufacturing markets. The recent revolutions in miniaturized satellites and commercial spaceflight have opened opportunities in space debris mitigation and satellite servicing.  As a spacecraft company, we recognize the wealth of aerospace resources in Georgia. We aim to tap into those resources to become an industry leader in the growing market for LEO and cislunar assets.

 

 

 

The Space Power and Propulsion Laboratory (SPPL), founded at the University of Maryland in 2007, is a research facility of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, located in Glenn L. Martin Wind Tunnel Building.  The facility and personnel are dedicated to the science and engineering of advanced power and propulsion capabilities for the exploration of space in the 21st century.
